It’s been a little while since we’ve had a Total Science release on CIA but the good news is that they’ve got two new cuts to unleash on your unsuspecting ears, and they’re packing that usual big bad quality punch from these two stalwarts, legends, pillars, that you’d of course expect. 

Channeling a little bit of every period of Total Science history into ‘Road Runner’, what comes out is something almost completely new, a special piece of music. It’s got a fresh feel to it, there isn’t anyone else making tunes that sound like this now, or before. And while ‘Fxk That’ comes out a bit more direct and to the point, it’s got that certain flare to it. And it’s got that oof. You need the oof. Or you’re the one missing the point, ya know. And Fxk That.

Guest Mix 04: Noppo - Liquid Drum & Bass Mix

The Dispatch Blueprints series continues to celebrate the heritage sound of drum and bass, with two retro inspired cuts from the UK’s new school - Trakker and Genic. As regular collaborators this exciting combination of artists who are known for their future thinking, technical productions packed with bags of funk, first appeared on Dispatch Recordings in 2023 with “All That Matters”.

“Not Be Cut Off” is another killer collab, that matches deep rolling bass, with snarling acidic synths riding over tough stepping drums. Rich atmospherics blend through the vocal samples and upbeat bongos.

Trakker delivers another deep cut for the solo “Polyrhythms” which pairs metallic reverb, snappy drum work with a monster bassline and risqué vocal cuts.
