Having his breakthrough in 2008 with his first track, 'F*ck Me Up', #1 for 8 weeks in the download top 100 on the leading dutch dance portal "Dance-Tunes.com", featured on compilation cd 's like DJ Mag Ibiza Edition,Sensation White, Pacha Ibiza Summer Anthems, Flamingo Recordings Ibiza Edition, performing worldwide from Asia to Dubai and Russia to the UK, on events like Sensation White and Creamfields Festival, gigs in clubs like Bamboo Bucharest, Pacha London, Bellagio Bucharest and Ministry of Sound (MOS), PHONK D'OR proved his skills in and out of the studio. He continued the years after with succesfull releases like ‘Tech Rulezzz’, ‘Clockism’, 'Good Girlfriend', 'Show Me The Love' (#19 in the UK club chart) and many others, which all entered in the global dance charts and were tracklisted on leading Radioshows  by Tiësto, Roger Sanchez and David Guetta.

Hailing from Keighley West Yorkshire, Gaz Blackburn is rapidly building a name for himself on the local music scene and now further a field, after receiving an overwhelming response supporting Jake Bugg and Rudimental at the ‘Aire Do Festival’ and Lee Southall and Molly Jones (the Coral) at ‘Woodfest’ (two gigs on the same night), Gaz was itching to get into the studio and start recording his array of forever growing songs. 

Working with local Producer, Songwriter and Musician Danny Yates at 'City Sound Studios' in Bradford who's credits include; Warner Brothers, Fabtone Records Japan, Split Records UK, White Light Parade, ADA Records Europe, ESPN America, SkySports, Grand Theft Auto, XFM and BBC Radio 1 etc.
