Influenced by the likes of Paul Kalkbrenner, Extrawelt, Jon Hopkins and Recondite, Toulouse-born techno live act and producer Idem Nevi’s humble beginnings playing at small local venues soon burgeoned into touring Europe alongside Regal and Agents Of Time. Having founded Requested Soul Records in 2020 as an outlet for his productions, receiving support from Richie Hawtin, Charlotte De Witte, Marcel Fengler, 747 and Slam, Nevi makes a fierce return to his brainchild after a brief hiatus with his ten-track album, ‘Lost Alchemy’. His track ‘Darj’ serves up tough analog work and further eerie harmonies, amidst many other bangers in his new project.

DJ Sodeyama readies ‘Makura EP’ for Radio Slave’s Rekids Special Projects.

Running the Arpa label from Japan since 2011, DJ Sodeyama has been actively involved in house and techno since the early 90s. Releasing music on labels such as Dynamic Reflection, Children of Tomorrow, Quartz and more under his The People In Fog alias, DJ Sodeyama now arrives on Radio Slave’s hard-hitting techno imprint Rekids Special Projects for his first appearance on the label.

Leading the release is ‘Catura’, bringing gentle flowing pads and gorgeous twinkling synths before the trippy, acid-tinged ‘Kumbhira’ takes a darker turn, sending the listener down a polyrhythmic rabbit hole. ‘Makura’ ups the tempo, drawing for sharp and fast percussion hits amongst ghostly atmospherics, an atmosphere matched by the deep and rolling ‘Pajira’, before ‘Sandira’ closes the release with a moody heads-down track complete with hypnotic synthesis and quirky FX.

BIO:
Michal first stepped behind the decks in 2010, however he has been playing professionally since 2020. A graduate of the "Instytut Dźwięku" Academy and 2022 "Wisłocontest" laureate. He played at venues such as Smolna, Jasna 1 or Hydrozagadka, as well as at the Instytut and Wisłoujście festivals. He feels most comfortable playing Melodic House & Techno, however he always tries to diversify his sets by combining music from the various genres such as progressive House, Indie Dance and even Eurodance ;)
