Today we have the pleasure of premiering the remix of their track "Dubby Lover" by Italian producer Francesco Chiocci, a talented artist who has released music on Innervisions, Keinemusik, Exit Strategy, MoBlack Records, among others.

PREMIERE: Between Ourselves - Dubby Lover (Francesco Chiocci Remix) [Urge To Dance]

Flexi is an independent record store and label located in Lugo, founded by Simone Guerra. Sitting halfway between Bologna and Rimini, the shop opened in ’84 and has always been aimed at DJs and record-lovers, devoted to the sounds of the warm and soulful, disco, acid jazz and house. Flexi Cuts the label, was born in 2016 and it releases a glorious array of music from talented artists about the globe. 
Next up on Flexi Cuts comes Feel Fly, the electronic DJ, musician, and composer for film from Perugia who has been described by Gerd Jansen as a linchpin in the Italian underground scene. Real name Daniele Tomassini, he has released Balearic beauties on cult label International Feel, with countless outings on Prins Thomas’ hallowed Internasjonal, Bosconi, New Planetary Melodies and Hell Yeah. Co-founder of the Afro Templum party, Tomassini’s structured and polished sonics have helped to define the Feel Fly sound; a blend of evocative, emotional, and ethereal atmospheres merged into house and cosmic leaning Disco.
“Sole” is a euphoric, powerful, and liberating sonic experience that will simply blow your mind. A summer anthem, that is both versatile and extremely dance-worthy and is laced with those Italo-house vibes we all love. Flip it over for the “Versione Tramonto” which teleports you to ethereal Balearic atmospheres, be it a mesmerizing sunset across the shimmering blue sea or a golden lit dawn at the end of an ecstasy filled club night.

We've tried to avoid hosting exclusives from the same artists, but sometimes the tracks that make their way into the Flux inbox are simply too enticing. This is a remix of South London's Afriquoi by Krywald & Farrer. 

For the last 6 years, Afriquoi have been drawing from diverse influences across the African continent and repackaging them with a dancefloor aesthetic. "Can I know you" is no different, resulting from a collaboration with Kakatsitsi - a group of traditional drummers, dancers and singers from the Ga tribe of Southern Ghana.

Since their formation in London in 1976, the members of Wire have maintained and advanced a musical project which treats the creative potential of a rock band as a fluid, amorphous medium. As removed from self-conscious intellectualism as they are from the inherent conservatism of much rock music, Wire employ their unique, endlessly restless and risk-taking creativity to question every aspect of songwriting, recording and performance. They delight and disturb in equal measure, troubleshooting the circuitry of perfect pop, or patrolling the limits of focused experimentalism. In terms of working together as Wire, the group's members disbanded in 1980, reformed in 1985, disbanded in 1992 and reformed for the second time in 2000. Such sabbaticals from their career as Wire have served to sharpen the group's edge and focus, updating the tactics with which they pursue this shared project.
