Darius Syrossian's passion for music has been his driving force, dedicating his life to collecting and sharing the finest house and techno records. With a wealth of experience dating back to the early nineties, Darius has become a legendary figure in the electronic music scene, renowned for his unpretentious approach and hard-working attitude.

As a selector, producer, label curator and radio host, Darius' love for good music in all its forms shines through. He transcends generations, cultivating an electrifying atmosphere on the dancefloor wherever he plays. His enthusiasm knows no bounds, matched only by his determination to keep the true spirit of club culture alive.

From his first experience of electronic music at York Racecourse in 1992, Darius has been a diehard member of the club community. Spending 15 years working in record shops such as Global Beat Records and world-famous Leeds outlet Crash Records, he acquired extensive knowledge of House Music, Garage, Techno and Disco, refining his own tastes in the process. This key stage in his life formed the foundation of everything he stands for now: the timeless, universal power of good quality music, unity on the dancefloor, and a total disregard for trends and fads

Darius Syrossian is a UK music legend with a global following. He gained fame as a DJ at Manchester's Tribal Sessions and regularly played at the renowned Sankeys nightclub alongside the likes of Jeff Mills and Dave Clarke. He honed his skills through international tours with Steve Lawler, performing to diverse crowds on various sound systems.

In addition to his successful career as a DJ, he launched Moxy Muzik, in 2019. The label reflects his passion for club culture and hosts sold-out events in intimate club spaces. He aims to take underground music back to its roots and prioritise music over gimmicks, as seen in the label's diverse and talented roster.

Darius is known for his intuitive understanding of the dancefloor, which is reflected in his prolific production career. He has released tracks on respected labels such as Defected and Drumcode, showcasing his versatility and disregard for genre labels.

As a DJ, Darius is dedicated to providing unforgettable moments for his audiences. He spends a significant amount of time preparing for his sets and is constantly in demand for performances at influential clubs and festivals worldwide. His commitment to keeping the soul of house music alive is evident in his philosophy of guarding its principles and welcoming all to dance with him all night long.

Fresh off the back of his release on Detroit's Motech Records CJW returns to his own label, Wirelab Records, for the labels 20th release. 

Test Rig EP delivers two fresh groove based techno tracks each with its own unique slant. The title track sees a more Detroit influenced groove guaranteed to keep heads nodding. 

Berlin is more dark affair with its grinding stabs yet still delivering an underlying groove and pleasing 909 hat patterns.

Always willing to support new talent, we continue this ethos by bringing on Dubrovnik (UK) aka Chris Currie. On remix duties Dubrovnik (UK) takes a completely different approach to the title track and sends it on a real deep excursion in his own unique signature style. 

Perfect for transitioning any warm up set. A fresh talent on the Glasgow scene Dubrovnik (UK) is DJ and producer with past releases on Flashmob, 22 Digit, and 18-09 Records. You can catch Dubrovnik (UK) djing during his residency for Glasgow based club night Alumni (which he co-promotes), in association with Shoogle Studios

Glasgow based Wirelab Records proudly present their 22nd release and final release of 2018. Ending another successful year on a high they are delighted to welcome techno legend Funk D’Void to the label on remixing duties. 

For this release Label boss,  CJW, delivers his Arch Stanton EP. The title track itself is a synth-laden techno groove. With his self-confessed Detroit influences abundant throughout the hypnotic journey. 

Needing no introduction, Funk D’Void turns in a classic remix. Those familiar with his sound and style will be in awe at this deep interpretation of the original. The signature warm bass combined with the emotional strings provides that feel good moment  Funk D’Void consistently provides with his music. 

With the recent announcement of the first label night taking place in Glasgow in November 2018, this independent techno label continues to grow and evolve.

Wirelab Records are proud to present their 24th release. 
Label Boss, CJW, amps up the tempo and the techno with his brand new two track EP 'Ionic'. 

Pushing 130bpm track 1, Monoatomic, sees a darker groove from his typical style perfectly placed for a real warehouse techno vibe. 
Leaving behind the floaty synths and strings, this demonic track jacks its way deep down below. Polyatomic, track 2, keeps up the same pace but starts on a smoother journey.

He builds the groove with powerful synth bass lines, almost acid like, to reach a satisfying breakdown and return of a monster groove. We hope you enjoy and feedback is most welcome.

Wirelab Records are proud to present their 25th release after a short hiatus. Joining label boss CJW is German techno sensation Markus Swarz for two exciting original collaborations, ‘Cryo’ and ‘U-Turn’. 

The Glasgow-based label head has been busy in the studio this year with an array of dance floor bombs locked and loaded for 2020, but first, he’s teamed up with melodic techno’s new kid on the block, Markus Swarz. The plucky German has, in two short years, propelled himself up the ranks with a series of emotive and highly original cuts signed to a range of labels including COOD, Gain records, and the infamous Jens Lissat’s Monkey League. His journey may just be starting, but his studio skills make him a superstar in waiting. 

First up, ‘Cryo’, a deep tech cut full of emotional promise. Snappy percussion and a solid low end form the foundations for the sonics, as hooky motifs capture your attention throughout. Secondly, ‘U-Turn’, a menacing tribal groover. Stabs, off-kilter FX and a rumbling bass collide to form a dense and evolving tapestry of tension and release.

Markus Swarz & CJW - Cryo

Next up on Wirelab, we have Wave Function with a tough warehouse groove, ‘Xe’. Label head CJW is on remix support.

West country-based Scouser Mike aka Wave Function has a long and established DJing career playing around his adopted hometown of Bristol. A fan of Robert Hood and Basic Channel, his studio craft is well-grounded in dubby Detroit sounds.

‘Xe’ is a profoundly engaging sonic journey beginning innocently enough with a tribal groove and potent low end. Gaining pace and layers of tension the break is an oasis of calm surrounded by clattering hats, punchy stabs and FX. On the remix, CJW opts for a darker tone. Building a starkwall of sound from the off, its claustrophobic might punctuated momentarily, and he succeeds in creating a powerful partner in music.
