Istanbul-based VLKN (aka Volkan) first got into electronic music as a teenager. In 2003, he first got behind the decks, and still prefers spinning vinyl to this day. His passion for music leads him inevitably to the production side, with his 2021 EP “Senses” released on schallmauer_records. In addition to numerous guest mix invitations, VLKN curates an excellent regular SoundCloud podcast, “Analog Sessions”. On his podcasts on Soundcloud you can see that VLKN is a storyteller, but the story is in the form of music. You can feel the book changing pages and the bpm getting on the dance floor. His stories usually have a happy ending, which will make you listen to them more.

Nüur fell asleep again in Bogota and awoke days later in Nairobi. This is his fifth offering for Shango Records. These two tracks will make you thirst for exotic nectars.
