so i recently decided to try using some snes soundfonts, in particular i thought to try out using the Megaman X soundfont, i already had made a version that i didn't plan on releasing, so i took that and replaced the instruments with ones from Megaman X.

Yet another old-ish Sonic remix, haha. I adore Sonic Mania's take on an act 2 for Green Hill Zone, so I wanted to make a Genesis mix of it. Obviously I didn't adhere to hardware limitations on this one, but I like how it turned out regardless.

This song was produced as an homage to early 1980s Synth rock. Using sounds similar to Giorgio Moroder in 1983. Classic sounds and gear such as the Rockman Guitar processor,  Linndrum drum machine, Arp Odyssey, and Prophet 5 synthesizer. Rock chords, and an uptempo beat yields a sound reminiscent of the early 1980s synth rock.

Anyways, here’s a theme that I declares as one of my personal favorite themes in the Mario franchise. I decided to have my own little spin on the main theme instead of just looping the original 16-bar one over and over. And while I haven’t exactly bossed the art of mixing and mastering, I hope I did a nice job on the final product. Enjoy!
