those who were next to me,

You told me Your love would set me free.

I dream of a peaceful place inside myself,

Father God, I look at Your Word
and I see peace,
I see deliverance for others,
but the monsters still haunt me.
How do I put them behind me?

I’m crying out for answers.
Father God, please help me.
Send Your angels to me.
Why can’t I feel Your warm embrace
like before?
Why does it feel like You’ve walked away from me?

Tell me what to change inside of me
so I can hear You speak.
Father God, I’m searching again.
