2024 FnF Summer Chill Submission

Techno peace warrior and mosaic artist - In 2020 I began an underground music zine called Azarakh, www.aryanafarsai.com/azarakh. This Zine features local Bay Area DJ's or DJ's from around the world who have something novel to appreciate in an essay based journal, with long format in-depth interviews, technical articles complete with How-To's, and other tasty knowledge nuggets. Azarakh zine features photographs of mosaic artwork I am making or have installed.

An avid music lover all my life, I began to start collecting tracks for play and pleasure in about 2006. Influenced by everything from bootyshaking sets to deep dark melodic scratch your brain journeys from SF/OAK and other West Coast DJs and a handful of venues I would go to, I decided it was time to start crafting some of my own sets that make people FEEL.

It's the music’s ability to break down barriers, social and otherwise, that continues to drive me to try new things. Wanting to help do this very thing led me on a search for my own equipment. Scoring a basic mixing setup from a local pawn shop, I've been collecting as much music to play with as I can. It's time for me to contribute to breaking barriers and walls that other DJs had, even unknowingly, helped me to overcome. So let go, enjoy the ride and relax with me :)
