Suddenly I realise
Spring buds unfolding.

John Hinks, aka FlownBlue, is a prolific and talented composer, and a regular participant in the Haiku challenge. Aside from his solo project, John is also involved in three improvising duos: ‘Windfall Light‘ (with Jim Tetlow), ‘Abstract Blue‘ (with Kevin Buckland) and ‘Light Fragments‘ (with Steve Escott).

Not Seeing - Suddenly [naviarhaiku425]

Through ocean mists, the sound of the foghorn is huge, rattling, and momentous. For the sixteenth instalment of Scrying the Landscape, Haron delivers a lament for the slow death of the monstrous, melancholy machines, evoking coastal folklore, shipwrecks, and the loneliness of lighthouses.

Ever since his eerily beautiful album De Wandelaar came out on Queeste, Haron has been a solid favorite of Recovery Channel. The album marked Haron’s own quest for more image inducing sound, simultaneously making listening an act of transport.
