Twenty-five years after its release, High Frequency's cult EP "4 Nuts" (EPS 001) is celebrated with this exceptional remix album.

To mark the return of Ellipsis Records, we entrusted the three original tracks ("Rumble", "Rumpus", and "Hard At Work") to a selection of legends and emerging talents from the techno scene.

From the raw power of D.A.V.E. The Drummer to the hypnosis of Maxx Rossi, through the modern vision of Electric Rescue or the acid touch of Ganez The Terrible, each artist has appropriated High Frequency's DNA to deliver 12 new explosive interpretations. It is the perfect bridge between the Reims sound of the 2000s and today's techno.

Ohh Wee dives straight into the chaotic charm of Poppy Butthole from Rick and Morty, blending warped dimensions with high energy psytrance grooves. The track pulses with cosmic humor, glitchy psychedelia, and that unmistakable Ohh Wee! vibe like a rave across infinite universes. It’s playful, unpredictable, and bursting with interdimensional color, capturing the spirit of a character who’s always one portal jump away from pure madness.

Joujouka (Tsuyoshi Suzuki& Funky Gong) are back on Matsuri!
Their first single having appeared on London-based Matsuri Productions way back in 1999, they are back with a fresh release in their true fusion style, blending classic rock sounds with strong elements of psychedelic techno trance. “Filter Rock” was played by Tsuyoshi Suzuki at this year’s European festivals and in Israel to overwhelmingly enthusiastic feedback. This release features the original mix alongside remixes by both newer and long-established electronica artists. Eat Static’s wildly psychedelic and otherworldly driven remix is followed by Atmos’ more textured and hypnotic progressive version; Nu Goa artist Skizologic gives us a bouncy and highly analog mix, while the legendary System 7 fuses the elements of Joujouka’s original with rock, German trance, and a strong rhythm, before the final version by Yuta & Asteroidnos, with a more tribal and dissonant yet mysterious atmosphere. Six amazing versions of one incredible track!

We are Fabian and Ben, living in Israel and for the past seven years creating psychedelic music under the stage name - Wizard Project.
