Composer Heather Mease and researcher-DJ Juan Sebastián Cañas present an hour of music from Finland and Finnish artists that blends folk, electronic, and experimental. 19th-century folk music cataloguing by Finnish musicologist Ilmari Krohn, alongside Bartók and Kodály, collected a lot of music that defied easy categorization based on purity if style or origin. The fuzzy character of a living tradition finds itself at home in these intersections of electronic, acoustic, historic, and experimental.

Spinning a new leaf for 2026, co:clear presents ‘Imago’ – a pristine collection of modern-classical electronica from @burningpyre. With impeccable vocal offerings from Australian poet 3NDLES5 and Shell Company lead-vocalist Rosabella Allen, this album represents a broadening of horizons for the Newcastle upon Tyne denizen, who also heads up the Eastern Nurseries imprint.

There’s a poignant sensibility throughout this body of work: thoughtful melodic stabs pair delicately with emotive ambience and precise textural specks. It’s a sonic blossoming that lays its roots in atmospheric-ambient divagations, yet over time blooms with enveloping subs and skittering percussion – flowering fresh strains of dub, downtempo and trip-hop.

Creative Roads is the cultural activation project anticipating the reopening of Cavallerizza Reale, promoted by Graphic Days®, C2C Festival and Paratissima, as part of the larger regeneration intervention supported by Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo.

A continuous festival that will activate the spaces of Cavallerizza for 18 months and spread throughout the city, transforming the complex into an open cultural laboratory. 

In October C2C Festival has curated a collaboration between Hyperdub founder Kode9, dj and radio host Stefania Vos and multidisciplinary platform Gang Of Ducks, who made a soundscape for Cavallerizza Reale's Manica del Mosca. This is an extract of their collaboration.
