Alan Walker - Faded (wlow remix)

This remix is official, without being official. The stems landed in my inbox, and as a sporadic venture, I opted for something different. It's rough, raw and unhinged - matching my mentality at the time of rewriting. I reworked the melody via an acoustic guitar, then recorded and layered  with additional guitar tracks. I also rewrote the orchestral  arrangement towards the end of the track, to give it a bit more of a feeling. I knew that other producers would opt to have some electronic-driven take on the original, which in theory, is a lot more personal, both in topic and delivery, than a simple 4x4 remix warrants. It's an intimate track with a very intimate lyrical subject, so I opted to convey that personally, via guitar, in a physical manner. I kept 'dud' guitar string hits in, as well as scratches along the fretboard as I moved around - this was never meant to be 'clean'. I hope  this version stirs something inside of you. If it doesn't, thank you for listening anyway. I'm just trying to break the mold and do something different
