The follow-up to last year's 'NQ State of Mind' mix project is headed by two of The North Quarter's most enduring artists: Redeyes and Fox. Mixtapes represent an important symbol of the formative years of many of the artists on this Amsterdam-based label and so it's only right that the tradition is continued by Redeyes and Fox, who both have a long history as music enthusiasts. Consisting solely of TNQ music - including 10 exclusives - this is NQ State of Mind, Vol 2.

  Throughout 31 tracks, mixed by 'smooth operator' Redeyes and backed with Fox's uplifting vocals, this is a journey through The North Quarter's five year catalogue. All artists that make the label the respected entity it is today are featured as well as some unexpected faces. The 10 exclusive tracks will be released on a 2x12” gatefold LP to accompany the mix.

For our second release we welcome AZIZ to the NYMFIELD family. This man is no newcomer when it comes to music. He is one of the original founders of the Diskodip parties, which started back in 2013. Over all this time, AZIZ has crafted and developed a sound true to his own. First as a DJ, later as a producer. Blending Chicago, Detroit & French house this man gives a fresh sound while keeping true to house music's original traditions. 

The 'Under The Radar' EP contains 3 deeper cuts to this sound. Where 'London' & 'Acid Dub' take on a more deeper and more underground aproach, Track 2 takes on us on a mellow deep house journey. Adding on the Querry Veldt Redub of 'Track 2', which transforms the mellow feel into a more peaktime energetic track. The 'Under The Radar' EP is out on all platform on the 25th of April.

MAT:YOU releases new EP "Compass" on Fourseason label.

Producer MAT:YOU presents his new EP titled "Compass", which is released on the Fourseason label. The four tracks offer a diverse musical experience and reflect the wide spectrum of drum & bass production.

The opening track, Compass, delivers an energetic and dynamic atmosphere with precisely built rhythms. Liquid Feel is in the realm of pure liquid drum & bass and features delicate instrumentation complemented by female vocals. Storm focuses on a dancefloor character with a strong bassline and a thrilling drive. The closing track Fall then brings a melancholic undertone with deeper harmonies and an emotive atmosphere.

The Compass EP confirms MAT:YOU's production maturity and its ability to combine different moods and styles within drum & bass.
