In honor of Veterans Day, we had a conversation with Kevin Henthorn from Knox County Veterans Services. He gave an overview of the services they provide and shared what Veterans Day means to him. Kevin also explained some of the difficulties his office faces and how we can support local veterans during the holidays and all year long!

WNZR's Joe Rinehart spoke with Chris Llewellyn, Steve Mitchell, and Jonathan Chu of Rend Collective as they prepare for their concert at MVNU! The band talks about their heritage from Northern Ireland, and how each band member's background plays a part of impacting the group and their music. They talk about their new book, based off their song "My Lighthouse", as well as their decision to get "folksy" with their music. Finally, the band gives advice to MVNU students as they prepare to come to their campus, and talk about how you can pray for their group!

MVNU Graduate Brian White joined the conversation to talk about his time at MVNU and WNZR. He shared how God’s leading allowed him to become an award-winning songwriter.
Brian will host a workshop on Saturday 11/15 at 2:30pm in Thorne Performance Hall.  
The workshop is titled, “So You Wanna Be A Songwriter: Helpful Hints to Kickstart Your Songwriting Journey”. 

Brian also shares about the special event “A NIGHT WITH NASHVILLE BENEFITING COUGAR BASEBALL WITH THE HITS”!
