Food For The Hungry LIVE and Drive Day on December 12, 2025 was one to remember! From start to finish, the day was filled with generosity, celebration, and community spirit.

By the end of Drive Day, an incredible $260,465 had been raised along with 12.5 truckloads of food—a powerful reminder of what happens when Knox County comes together. Donors, volunteers, and grant recipients all played a part in making the day such a success, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Chris Tomlin Talks To Us About Christmas!

Katie Ellis, Director of the United Way of Knox County, recently spoke with WNZR’s Eric Brown about the campaign. 

She says they are continuing to see support through donations from supporters and with employers that match the employee’s contributions. They are nearing the $400,000 mark with an overall goal of $1.1 million. 

She also explains the goal and mission of the United Way. She says because there are so many organizations involved under their umbrella. She says they support many other area non-profits with their owns goals as well.

She adds that the area organizations are continuing to need more support and explains the need of those in Knox County.
