It is an honor to have Quasar as our special guest this week on the DDD Guest Mix Series this week!

With some of the most versatile dubs in the scene, Quasar hails from a small suburb in Paris, France.  With experience in producing dating back to 2010, he has created some incredibly eclectic tunes that have been released on labels such as Deep Medi, Artikal, and Foundation Audio. It is anticipated that he will be releasing a spectacular vinyl/digital release in 2024 on a forthcoming EP with a label that has not yet been named! Through this mix, Quasar demonstrates his true style and art in a way that is not only unique but refreshing.

Quasar - DDD Guest Mix

Little introduction needs to be given for Morning High, as we stop to acknowledge and respect his work on display in this mix. 

His pedigree in the scene speaks for itself, with previous releases on renowned labels such as Duploc, Blxck Tapes, Wheel & Deal Records, Dank 'n Dirty Dubz and more. His talent hasn't gone unnoticed, with features on Lost's guest mix for Deep Dark & Dangerous and Ternion Selects, among others. With his monthly mix series and a growing list of accolades, Morning High continues to solidify his position as a driving force amongst artists and labels pushing this distinctive sound. 

His mix coincides with the forthcoming and anticipated compilation LP from ADM, Selections Vol.02, which features a contribution from Morning High that only serves to further showcase his talent and technical capability in the studio. Morning High's track, Ghetto Dance VIP, proves to be a very distinctive track on the compilation. Expect to hear dubwise flair on top of an immense bassline, fused with a drum groove that together conveys cohesion, clarity and impact.

At the heart of this mix lies the signature sound of Morning High, evidently in his element as part of the ADM faction. Tune in and engross yourself as Morning High commands your attention through this exploration of different tonalities, rhythms and sounds.

Ahkur is the pseudonym of Los Angeles native Dillon Bush. Throughout his music career, Dillon has developed into a skilled producer with a nuanced yet unorthodox style. He has established his presence through releases on international labels such as Foundation Audio (UK), After Dark Music (AUS), Defy Culture (USA), Silent Motion (USA), and Sub Garden (DE).
