Shanti Planti is chuffed to present a Nu-skool-meets-Old English instrumental folktale. This collection of tranquil transmissions and experimental Electronica tunes is the perfect accompaniment for the ever changing seasons. The forest and all entities that are endemic to the ethereal are rejoicing, in the heralding of the newborn Wolfen Technologies album, "Golden Fractals." Hailing from the heart of the UK, this phonic passion project is the bio-digital brainchild of Tom Chant. If you've ever wondered what the most idyllic soundscapes for woodland and countryside gatherings were, then search no further! Let these fanciful frequencies take root and allow yourself to burrow within the thickets of the harmonic hive mind. These universally crafted, introspective beats are inspired by the recurring motifs found in numinous Nature, and they directly dial into the microscopic blueprint of omnipresent existence, the focal point of fractals.

Throughout the nine compositions, oozing melodies and spectral synths oscillate between bouncing basslines, spatial sound design and analog ambiance, to simulate the feeling of floating adrift on the breeze. Bending the term "genre" to his will, Wolfen Technologies explores and seamlessly integrates all different kinds of musical modalities, while staying true to his forte, Glitchy grooves of grandeur. This album is a golden apple from Eris herself, a polymorphous journey soaring through the psychonautical altitudes of the here and never ever, peeling through the shifting layers of aural hallucinations to find some sort of sanity and spirit at the core. With moments of zen-like lysergic reflection mixed with bamboozling SNAFUs of pure spiritual vertigo ‘The Hallucinatory Mountain’ is the amalgamation of years of dedication and optimism, a promising seed with more fruit to bear.

Wolf Tech was formed in 2006 (Age 16) in a small bedroom studio setup. Hailing in the depths of the gnarly ancient nature, where thoughts, inspiration and contemplation have space to breathe. An older friend had shown him how to use an early version of Ableton Live, having dabbled in the 'Acid' software and 'Music 2000' as a young teen. Musical brainwaves  started to evolve into an infinite interest to sculpting found waveforms, and defining a sound for the new age. 

Expect deep dark dubstep basses, glitchy melancholic beats, otherworldly alien morphs, combined with musicality and melody. Merging powerful synthesizer jams with organic foley formulated a serious beast.

​Tom hybridizes the Digital realm with organic forms. Unreal worldly sounds and field recordings, spark imagination into the psychonaut. "Try to embrace these blissful energies and pure sound-waves,feel and visualize these noises in 3d space. When one taps into the magical and spiritual audio realm, boundaries of the mind begin to dissolve, sounds can be sculpted and manipulated in ways we could never imagine"

Having experienced the festival culture, influenced by dub, from a young age and It didn't take long before Tom broke into the wonderful world of music production. Always trying to push the envelope of new genres and warped sounds. Mr Chants creations feature organic textured sound-scapes with a wide spectrum of emotional content.
