Their debut track on Tiefblau Records with mixes from Dayne S, Vintage Culture, Tony Casanova and Lightzoff reached the upper chart positions on many music download stores around the globe, got support from some of the Deep House leading players like Kolombo, Teenage Mutants, Purple Disco Machine or Amine Edge & DANCE and got also featured on Ministry of Sound Radio, Ibiza Global Radio and Milk & Sugars HOUSE NATION compilation. Après une tournée à succès avec ses Mojos l’année dernière, Asaf Avidan annonce une « pause créative illimitée ».

L’attente en valait manifestement la peine.

Sur ce premier EP, prélude d’un nouvel album à paraître début 2013 chez Polydor, Asaf Avidan  pousse encore plus loin son songwriting  et l’immisce  naturellement dans de nouvelles sonorités  où folk et electronica offrent un écrin inédit à sa voix hors du commun.

En plus de 2 nouveaux titres, on découvrira également deux lectures de « Different Pulses », son 1er single à travers les remixes de Joris Delacroix, membre du collectif sudiste WOH Lab  et du duo JBNV (aka Nicolas Villebrun de Pony Hoax et Jacques Bon).

Wolfgang Lohr is a Berlin based producer, composer, remixer, artist, and DJ whose career spans way back and encompasses a vast variety of different musical projects. Born in Bad Segeberg and raised in Lübeck (GER) by the Baltic Sea, where he served as a trumpeter, singer, and songwriter for the ska band “DaSKArtell” (@das-kartell).

He finally moved to Berlin in 2007 and dove right into its colorful and flourishing electro scene. Till this day he’s involved in several groups and productions, such as the Disco-House duo “DINKS” (@dinksmusik) and the Tech House outfit “Dorade” (@dorademusik), making him a mainstay of the scene who has created remixes for well known, fellow artists like Felix Jaehn, Parov Stelar, Alle Farben, The Manhattan Transfer and In-Grid.

His cover of Ray Charles’ “Hit the Road Jack” has surpassed a total of 60 million plays and has turned Lohr into one of the most sought-after Electro Swing artists worldwide, with a catalogue that now spans about 150 own tracks and remixes.

In addition to his musical endeavors, he has co-founded a Tech House label Coast Connection (@coastconnectionrecords), the “FDF” music blog (@free-download-friday), turned House-label “FDF Records”, as well as the “Electro Swing Thing” (@electroswing) label that has become a home to the versatile cross-over genre and amplifies the voices of its artists.
