A comeback to NCS after a year's hiatus, I present you with my favourite track I've made this year. The reason is that I've always wanted to create a cyberpunk-inspired track with a harder beat that's darker than my usual stuff, so it's sort of new territory. My vision was to combine an acid hardcore, drum and bass mid tempo fusion that portrays the augments and synthetic upgrades you would apply to yourself as a human, you are a fusion of cybernetics with just a small part of humanity left within you. I'm really pleased with how it turned out and just how easily it came together when making it, it pretty much wrote itself.

Of course, with this being on NCS, you can use it in your content royalty free :)

Misty Shores is a small, easy-to-listen-to house track that I made fairly quickly. It prominently features the Misty Flute sample library, made by Hidde Pieters on Pianobook. It also features some vocals from Cory Friesenhan's Vocal Atmospheres sample pack. 
It's a very simple track from a harmonic standpoint, but I think that works to its favour, as I find it to be very interpretable.

So after a long while of me trying to come up with ideas for this remix, I finally decided to attempt liquid Drum & Bass again. However, as you can hear, it became regular Drum & Bass. The vocals probably caused me the most trouble, but hey, I got it finished anyways. I don't know if I'll have a shot at winning this remix (I've heard plenty of great remixes already), but we'll see, won't we?

Information about Nazca Linez' identity, intentions, and ideology remains scarce. Even the modern-day oracle Google is stumped, asking, simply, "Did you mean: Nazca Lines?" What we do know about them (him...her...it?) comes from their music. Reminiscent of those classic, benchmark-setting V Recordings rollers, their sound might reference the past, but, equally, it couldn't be more cutting-edge. No wonder these tunes spawn hundreds of desperate ID-hungry social media commentators whenever a clip surfaces.

The entangled vineyard of metamorphosing bass, supported by those rolling drums are going to make this release a raver favourite. You see, it really doesn't matter who Nazca Linez are. The truth is that their music tells a story all of its own. Joining the dots between the swirling cauldron of ideas that was the mid-nineties DnB scene with a projection of the future, this is music for the heads and for the dancefloor.
