The Big Banyan (original composition by SinaSiav) was made originally as a soundtrack for Yoga Art of Living Series's 4th Episode (Published in 2020). The inspiration for this song came from the big banyan tree where I used to go for yoga practice and singing practices.
Instruments used in this piece (Flute, Handpan, Vocals, Synth, etc...) played by SinaSiav and recorded, Mixed & Mastered by Navakanu Records.

This is part four of a five-part recording of one of my own very favourite stories!

The Little Prince, first published in 1943, is the most famous work of the French aristocrat, writer, poet, and pioneering pilot Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

The novella is the fourth most-translated book in the world and was voted the best book of the 20th century in France.

I think one of the things that most intrigues me about the story around this story is the author himself, only a year after this book was published, piloted a plane from Corsica on a reconnaissance mission against the German army - and together with his plane vanished without a trace.

Adam Maalouf’s 2019 record “Path of Time” is a musical exploration combining traditions of world music with modern electronics. Maalouf builds a foundation for the album with supporting instrumentals of pantam, cello, electric guitar, marimba, piano, world percussion, electronics, and synthesizers. This record features vocals by Hannah Sumner, Apoorva Mudgal, and Mariam Abuamer. The title track “Path of Time” is an adaptation of words from Lebanese poet Khalil Gibran. Other tracks include “Land of the Beloved”, a re-imagining of the Arabic traditional “Balad il Mahboub” by the prominent Egyptian composer Mohammed Abdel Wahab, a jam-worthy version of the Punjabi folk song “Chori Chori”, as well as original instrumental pieces by Maalouf.
