Dario grew up in Florence and London - in these two cities he was fortunate enough to be exposed to two entirely different cultures each with their distinct approach to music and life.  London was of course a tremendous opportunity to explore and delve into different musical genres; a city where musical styles are broad and radical self-expression is practiced.   

Since 2019, he has been part of the Sunny Side Up (@sunnysideupeventsmiami) event production team and later worked on a series of immersive house music events @secretmagicgardenmiami.  The latest project was launched this year along with @oddo2 @r_e_a_l_l_y @laflacatati and @powerofmau: the aim being to always deliver a one-of-a-kind experience for the local house music family.

His preferred musical style is a function of his appreciation for a marked bassline, percussive elements and a weaving melody with long build-ups and progressions. He plays anything from afro, deep, organic, melodic, tech house and techno to jackin’, dub and disco house. An appreciation for jazz, blues, soul and 80s rock bridge the gap between the old and the new to make for an eclectic sound.

Being one of the most distinctive funk projects in Athens over the last years, WFP is a musical collective that combines traditional soul-funk sounds with the modern stream of the hip-hop scene. 
 
The band was formed in the summer of 2007 in Athens, as a jazz studying trio but the need for composing original music came up relatively soon. Experimenting with sound and its diversity, has been a catalyst for the creation of a funk project with a different timbre than usual. The prospect of a dynamic musical collective which can be alternated and forever evolving, is personified by Kostas Stamou (bass), Aggelos Diamantopoulos (drums), Nikos Martziokas (percussion), Stamatis Lekatis (keys & programming) and Billa Qause (beatmaking & scratch).
 
Their debut single “From Scratch” was released in March 2014 by Under A Groove® and pressed in a limited edition 7inch red vinyl. 
 
On June 16th, 2016 their single “Mindtrap” was first released on the web and since then is on the airplay of several major radio stations in Greece.
 
The collaboration with guest artists (vocals, MCs, brass) at their live shows, is reflected in their new album "Mindtrap" (lp, 12”), which was released in November 2016 by Under A Groove®.
