I went out drinking with a very close friend for the first time since Ryuichi Sakamoto's passing. I had been wanting to have a serious conversation about this news with someone for a long time, but couldn't until then, so it was a very meaningful time. We talked about various topics for five hours straight, holding beers in our hands. He also loves Ryuichi. Although we had known each other for five or six years, we found out for the first time that we had attended the same language school in Cambridge, England.
