In 2012, Wonda embarked on a solo career as a singer/songwriter/producer, and signed to LNB Entertainment by 17 year BET Networks veteran, Lilian N. Blankson.
Wondaboy’s first release, “BEFORE THEN” featuring Ghanaian superstar Sarkodie, became a massive success on international radio & television. Though released in 2013, it continues to enjoy consistent radio, night club and airplay WORLDWIDE.
In 2016, Wonda was featured in the sold-out historical ALL ACCESS GHANA Concert Event in Washington DC’s Echo Stage. Barely a month later, he was personally selected by Ms. Lauryn Hill to perform on her sold-out concert streamed live by Tidal – TIDAL X Diaspora Calling Concert in New York. His performance received rave reviews and Ms. Hill invited Wonda to join her on her 50 city US Tour.
Recognized by MTV Base as "Artist To Watch 2017,” Wondaboy released “FELICIA”,“PERSONAL” & “TAKE IT” taking the Afrobeat international market by storm. Destined for success, Wonda continues to perform on stages in Africa and the US as his brand becomes more prominent and significant in the African Music sphere.
