I started to write this track as a counterpoint excercise, exploring the possibilities behind the common mistakes you can encounter in studying Harmony (parallel and hidden 5th, harmonic syncopation, unprepared 7th, etc). It ended up in a piano and orchestra piece with its own formal and emotional indipendence.

I had a very strange, but cinematic dream and at the end of it, for the finale I could hear Freya Ridings singing this amazingly poignant and beautiful song. As an homage to it and my crazy dream, I've tried creating an orchestral "Dexter Britain" interpretation
