Wondercast 001 w/ Illegal Swede is here, and we’re fucking buzzing to be back.

‘I get asked to play Hardhouse more and more these days which I absolutely love. It's a genre that was absolutely massive in the UK back in the early 2000s then went really cheesy and completely disappeared .... almost. When Hardhouse was on its way out of the mainstream there was some interesting fusion with acid techno as it morphed into the underground, a sound encapsulated with the acid drenched productions of Acid Ted, The Pranksterz and OD404 on labels such as Acid Test Pressings and Akid Traxx (all included in this live broadcast!). In this mix I've tried to convey some atmosphere of the transformation of Hardhouse from a commercial concern to an underground movement featuring tracks from both. If you have half as much fun listening as I did mixing, you'll have a very pleasant evening. Hardhouse isn't dead!’

Wondercast 002 w/ RADIUM is here and we’ve got some techno being served for brunch before MINDS. festival today,

Within the thriving Belfast electronic music scene, RADIUM is an emerging artist taking major inspiration from Berlin techno parties that last long into the night and morning after. Booming kicks accompanied by dynamic synths, bringing high energy from start to finish.

‘This Wondercast features a strong mix of tracks I've been loving recently. Dark, 4/4 tracks are the core, featuring artists including XV3, Fractur & Mall Grab, with some Danish favourites Resonant Pole/ Tonni 3k and Sugar throughout. Thanks to the guys for having me’ - RADIUM

Wondercast 002 w/ RADIUM

Wondercast 003 is finally here and we've got some bangin' techno from AFĒKT party boy KRiK.

AFĒKT are a heavy techno outfit, bringing a huge sound & light show to Derry with an even bigger host of local, Irish & international talent and KRiK explores the soundscape that each AFĒKT party in his debut Wondercast with an hour of industrial and acid cuts.

KRiK has already cemented himself as one of Derry's best underground DJs, playing alongside Paula Temple, Charlotte De Witte, Eats everything, Luigi Madonna and more, and joins the Wonderlust crew in December for our second instalment of our Phase Two series at Wonderlust BFS, and if this mix is anything to go by, you lot are in for a treat.

Wondercast 004 is here and DNZ takes you on a power hour of some heavy hitting techno and industrial to wind down the Halloween weekend.

DNZ along with VXYX are at the helm of Glasgow based promoters Eutony., which has seen the likes of KAS:ST, Under Black Helmet, AWB, Anetha and Fiedel join them behind the decks of the notorious La Cheetah basement. DNZ joined us for the launch of Wonderlust BFS w/ Anetha and Inhalt Der Nacht, and pushed the limits of our ‘no warm-up’ policy to breaking point, making sure you lot were ready for what was to come.

Wondercast 005 is here and we’ve got Voight-Kampff party boy Ex_Machina delivering an hour of relentless industrial techno.
Hailing from the formerly industrial west coast of Scotland, Ex_Machina is no stranger to the hard, dark, and fast realms of industrial techno.
He is part of the Voight-Kampff collective and recently performed as part of their rave series Jaded at Corsica Studios in London as well as hosting and performing at parties across Scotland.
Having released an array of podcasts on respected labels across the globe, he is now turning his efforts to productions and aims to blend his dramatic hardcore style with the new wave of industrious sounds being rinsed across Europe and beyond .
We’re excited to hear more of his crashing and pounding sound, and we’re certain that he and the Voight-Kampff crew have loads in store for us this year.

Wondercast 029 is live and we've got an absolutely relentless 2 hours of industrial hammers and rave from the incredible Josh Reid

Contrary to what society perceives the role of a DJ to be, Josh doesn’t do gentle warm-ups or build a journey. Having spent the best part of a decade building up a hefty record collection packed with blistering techno, crusty rave classics and abrasive schranz, Josh’s sound is not for the faint at heart and rarely dips in tempo - once he’s in, he’s in and there’s no going back.

Starting out in Dublin almost 10 years ago with sets at the now closed Sweeneys, The Twisted Pepper, Hangar and The Button Factory, it was here that Josh developed his trademark quick-fire mixing and sharp ability to engage even the toughest of crowds. A move to New Zealand followed shortly after where he continued to build his sonic library before relocating to Berlin, where he’s currently based.

Josh prides himself on technical ability, accuracy and an unwavering focus from the moment he steps up to the plate. Mixes for HÖR Berlin, Threads Radio, Voight-Kampff, & more have showcased Josh's sound to wider audience across Germany, Ireland and the UK and have helped to continue his momentum over the last year. Along with a well-tuned ear and commitment to digging for new and old sounds of a certain pace, Josh is one of the most thrilling DJs to come out of Dublin who shows no sign of slowing down any time soon.
