Japanese born Yukicito found his love for Brazilian music after moving to LA as a teenager & emerging himself in the samba schools of one of the biggest Brazilian communities in the country. Soon after learning all the instruments & songs, he became a teacher & started making recordings with vocalists & musicians. 

After several hit remixes on both Wonderwheel & Bastard Jazz, Yukicito drops his 1st original 5 track EP. A dance-floor fusion the African rooted music of both Brazil's Atlantic coast & The Pacifico music of Colombia's Pacific coast, we feel the roots & the thump of long running Los Angeles party called 'La Junta'.

DJ Guasá es artista que cultiva los sonidos tradicionales del mundo con un especial enfoque en la rama Afro Colombiana. Además de un gran coleccionista de vinilos e instrumentos, Guasá es un querido amigo y artista de Cosmovision Records desde el día que comenzamos. Es por eso que comenzamos con él esta nueva serie de música tradicional en formato vinilo.

¨Esta sesión junta ritmos del campo colombiano, partiendo de la poesía andina del "Indio Romulo" y la música llanera, llegando a las costas Caribe y Pacífico. Hay una cumbia grabada en México por Aniceto Molina y un homenaje póstumo más reciente a Andrés Landero, "rey de la cumbia". También se disuelven las fronteras rítmicas en una cumbia de chirimía del Chocó. Está presente la resistencia de los ritmos tradicionales frente a la modernidad, bien sea en manera que se tocan o en la forma en que han sido grabados; no es una selección cronológica, porque las grabaciones más recientes muestran que son tradiciones más vivas que nunca en diálogo abierto con esa modernidad¨

¨DJ Guasá is an artist who cultivates the traditional sounds of the world with a special focus on Afro-Colombian sound, as well as a great collector of vinyl and instruments, Guasá is a dear friend and artist of Cosmovision Records from the day we started. That is why we started this new series with this great set of traditional music vinyls.
This mixtape brings together rhythms of the Colombian countryside, passing through the Andes and the Caribbean and Pacific coasts, a mixture of rural poetry by Indio Romulo and the llanera music that Colombia shares with Venezuela. There is a cumbia played in Mexico by Aniceto Molina and a more recent posthumous tribute to Andrés Landero, "king of cumbia". I wanted to try to connect this genre with other music of rural oral tradition and listen to how each landscape permeates them. A certain dissolution of rhythmic borders occurs in a chirimía playing cumbia, a kind of resistance of traditional rhythms against modernity, either in the formats of their interpretation or in the way they have been recorded.
This is not a chronological selection, because the most recent recordings show that the traditions are more alive than ever and maintain an open dialogue with that modernity.¨

Tres Semillas es el primer disco que el ecuatoriano Lascivio Bohemia edita en conjunto con New Latam Beats, el cual es conformado por tres canciones hechas a lo largo del tiempo y en diferentes momentos creativos del proyecto, pero cuya propuesta global es comunicar de manera instrumental, tal como propone el artista, “mi fascinación por todo lo que veo, y experimento. Siempre de forma muy psicodélica sonoramente”.

Time of Sine represents the positive and negative forces in life, as a producer Atropolis is stuck between acoustic and electronic worlds, the sine wave is what bridges them together for him. One hand, the record is in part a score to this fictional character, Sine, and the journey it goes on. On the other hand, it is related to the up and down motions of this fundamental waveform; each track represents different emotions of these motions. Each feature engages with this movement and reflect upon negative or positive energies that have influenced them. Time of Sine embraces the up's and down's and all the growth influenced by the movements of these forces. Atropolis has spent the past decade teaching music production, releasing music, studying and working with sounds ranging from his own Greek-Cypriot heritage to other diverse musical cultures in Colombia, India, Mexico, Ghana and South Africa. With a degree in music composition and ethnomusicology, Atropolis is Adam’s alter ego that explores international styles of music fused with a diverse range of contemporary electronic genres. Growing up, Adam’s after school jazz program at Queens College greatly influenced his improvisational, compositional, and rhythmic approach to music production. His instructors at Queens College introduced a focused study on Thelonious Monk’s repertoire, which still resonates throughout Adam’s approach to playing his primary instrument, the piano. Parallel to these teenage musical moments, Adam was introduced to composition using Sibelius, and Digital Performer, where Atropolis got his first chops in music production using digital audio workstations. 

His upcoming album, “Time of Sine,” is due on Wonderwheel Recordings in July, 2020.

Un set lleno de beats en su mayoría lusofonías que  navega entre letras revolucionarias con tintes políticos, que hablan de amor o simplemente que nos llevan a bailar porque como decía Berta Cáceres No hay mejor acto de rebeldía que conservar la alegría.

 Este set, contiene entonces, samba Brasileña con uno de sus mayores exponentes: Carlota, música cabo verdiana por el productor DJ/MC Rocky Marsiano, desde Brasil el Colectivo Rádio Cipó provenientes de Belém do Pará con este sonido urbano y rural estridente y muy poderoso, Brazilian boys feat. Ce´Cile canción del sello discográfico mad decent que ha ayudado a la difusión del baile funk brasileño y el kuduro angoleño en diferentes clubes. Siguiendo con este recorrido y como muchos de los sonidos buenos que se cocinan en Grecia tenemos ha NOMÅGIK’s  con esta mezcla de  la canción Manitoumani que cuenta la historia de encontrarse entre dos mundos Francia y Mali. Black coffee DJ y productor sudafricano de gran trayectoria y reconocimiento una bomba y eminencia, Lycox, Dj, productor y vocalista desde Paris con el sello de Lisboa principe discos.  Dentro de una gran selección sonará también Huambo 93 haciendo referencia a la guerra civil Angola  en el año 93 del DJ N.K histórico productor  de música Afro, tema recopilado en EMBA vol. 1  por el colectivo Moto Kiatu residentes en la ciudad de Madrid y fieles exponentes y difusoras de la música Africana  y haciendo referencia a ese navegar entre guerras y fiesta paso a MC LOMA cantante y compositora brasilera quien obtuvo un gran reconocimiento en las fiestas de río de Janerio del 2018 con este tema. Jennifer Dias Francesa con raices de Cabo Verde con el tema Roçare una mixtura entre Tarraxinha, Kizomba y funk. Temazo para ir cerrando y recién cocinado por los  grandes The Busy Twist con la voz de la bella Alewya y con una  influencia de sonidos Africanos e Ingleses, este tema para sudar hasta el amanecer. Termina con Bolo e leite que podría ser un tema afro house con kuduro de Scro Qui Cuai producido por Afro - Digital.
