Despite it technically being mid-summer in June (not August), this Garden was a belter.  There was a RiteTrax festival on at the Bolehills during the day and when that finished the hordes descended on the Hallamshire making it one of the busiest yet.  I had an early evening set and played some deep Techno with a splash of trance at the end, enjoy!

W swojej twórczości skupia się na brzmieniach z pogranicza techno i IDM. Dla nas nagrał set DJ'ski wypełniony melodyjnymi i minimalowymi utworami.  Wieczorami lubi poczytać dobrą książkę, przy dźwiękach Moderata.

EN: Piotr Figiel - music producer, live performer and DJ from Krakow. Editor of the "Essentia Electronica" - program at Off Radio Krakow, in which he often hosts Us. In his work, he is focuses on sounds of techno and IDM. For us, he recorded a DJ set filled with melodic and minimal trax. In the evenings he likes to read a good book while listening to Moderat.

A special 2 hour and 42 minute presentation of psychedelia that recalls the dark corners of warehouse parties of a forgotten era, while at the same time, striking to the current core of modern jakbeat aesthetics. Further mind altering experiences are provoked and amplified by a delay pedal that runs its course from beginning to end, while making no apologies for its audible presence. After Brexit, they thought it would be a brave attempt to snatch the Queen's interpretational sovereignty over the colour purple. The purple one, this one right here, is the second to last, completely with the wonderful artwork by Leipzig’s Doppeldenk and four tracks to dance your ass off to. 
Our pick up here is Krakow’s Chino who shows us how to balance perfectly between straightforward urgency and mystic playfulness. His acidic Forbidden Voices sports just the right amount of chaos to make you go crazy on the dancefloor.

@Amamelia is the musical project of Amelia Berry, a musician and songwriter currently based in Auckland.

Amamelia's music combines breaks normally found in Jungle & Drum & Bass with a sugary synthetic pop sensibility.

Outside of Amamelia, Amelia can be found creating ambient soundscapes in caves as Old Chips, playing in queerbo pop-punk band Babyteeth and performing as one half of synth pop duo Fimo. It was local word of mouth that elevated Australian @katemiller from local to international notoriety. Her ability to fluidly jump genres and eras always leaves dance floors in a spin, and after emerging in Melbourne she followed the music to Berlin when she eventually became resident at the Oscillate party at ://about blank. Those sets allowed her the freedom to explore and pick up a fan base, and now she is someone who tells long and winding stories, with selections and feelings that define her sets more than tempo or technicality.

The 90 minute session Kate lays down for us is perfectly warm and rhythmic. It's united by rubbery kicks and deep, warm sub bass, but ever changing kick patterns and synths that range from absorbing and ambient to dark and paranoid always keep things moving. It is the sound of a DJ who is always in control, a masterclass in tension and release that means you're always on the edge, excited for what is to come.
