When it comes to contemporary Progressive Trance, there is one particular expression frequently to be heard from DJs and party goers all around the world: Spin Twist sound. Obviously a music label of the same name succeeded in doing something only few others managed to do: Bursting the bonds of imitation, developing its very own character, and gaining international approval for doing so. Spin Twist Records has long become a leading protagonist of the genre- both for Progressive Trance lovers and the artists it represents.


The character of Spin Twist is strongly shaped by the character of its founder, Hannes Klitta. Being an avid music lover since his early childhood, he soon realizes that making music is more than merely a hobby. It is his main purpose in life. After plonking the guitar in various Metal bands he finds himself on his first Goa party in 1999- and is instantly and completely hooked by Progressive Trance. Guitar chords become synthesizer melodies, stompboxes are replaced by stomping beats. Fuelled by sheer euphoria he soon delivers first releases under the moniker Vaishiyas, laying the cornerstones of a remarkably successful career, as the international popularity of this name proves today.

Just when the music market is facing increasingly serious problems with music piracy, Hannes decides to take his passionate commitment to the Progressive Trance scene to the next level. Spin Twist Records is founded in 2005. The project proves that quality, innovation, persistence and patience pay off even in times of crisis. With every release the label gains more reputation, setting a considerable number of Progressive Trance milestones from artists such as Neelix, Day.Din, Audiomatic, Fabio & Moon, Interactive Noise, Kularis, Krama, Shiva Chandra or Vaishiyas. It keeps doing so: New label artists like Coming Soon, Durs or Unseen Dimension clearly represent the continuation of a release policy that is characterized by both solid quality and steady innovation and evolution. Royal Flush is the latest project to hit the PsyTrance floors across the world, consisting of two crazy Israeli producers who are heavyweights in their own right. Didy Ezra (Bizzare Contact) & Eddie Zaltsman (Mystical Complex) have teamed up to give you a new sound of progressive trance that will leave you begging for more ! Welcome to the world of Symphonix! Music that still deserves to be called true Progressive Trance, featuring sea-deep atmospheres and heaps
of psychedelic stimulants but still being tidied up, laid back in terms of speed and kind of
“grown up” in its character. Grown up not without reason: The sound of Symphonix refers to
the producer’s large background in the Progressive Trance scene which reaches back to the
origin of this style in the late nineties. Starting with DJing under the moniker Montagu & Golkonda
and promoting their first Tshitraka parties back then, brothers Stephan und Sirko Wötanowski
rapidly became an essential ingredient of the young and blooming Progressive Trance scene.

Inspired by their numerous travels to the coloured dance floors of this planet they soon felt the
wish to express their deep passion for this music and its wonderful scene and people also in
the language of their own music. After making various nights of it in the studio and some
adventurous experiments in the sound laboratory in 2003 the first solid track with a forcing
bass line, exciting rhythm patterns and playful melodies grooved from the speakers:
Symphonix was born! Due to the mentioned long-year experience already the first tracks
distinguished them selves by a very high sophistication and professionalism and so it’s not
really a wonder that this live act got rapidly established as a reliable source for dance floor
euphoria and was invited to many parties and gathering around the globe.

While nowadays most of the classical Progressive Trance producers flirt with the ideas of
modern club music, Symphonix keep these experiments for their other project True Lies and
stay true to the original idea of this style. So their sound will send you to the deep spheres
of Trance and take you to these certain parallel dimensions that can be especially experienced
on the dance floor of a terrific festival while the sun is rising or during a warm, shiny day with
your friends at some outdoor event. Though very deep and mystic, their sound always keeps
a positive feeling that will produce a smile on your face by magic. Symphonix will keep up the
banner of Progressive Trance and remain a tried and tested name for lovers of this style!
