Seit 2002 legen die gebürtigen Berliner Max und Samuel, zunächst unabhängig voneinander, in der Berliner Clubszene auf.
Ihre Anfänge fanden sie in der karibischen Musik. 2005 begann sich Samuel vermehrt auf elektronische Musik zu konzentrieren, wobei erste Selections entstanden und 2008 die ersten eigenen Produktionen folgten. In diesem Jahr führte die Musik die beiden Jungs zusammen und machte sie Ende des Jahres 2009 zu den Mitbegründern der „elektronischen Klangkost“, einer etablierten Partyreihe in Berlin. Schlussendlich bilden sie seit Mitte 2012 das Produzenten und DJ-Team: #Wonkers.
Ihre Sets, die von Deep- und Tech House geprägt sind, werden durch Ihre kreative und leidenschaftliche Bühnenperformance zu einem unverkennbaren Ereignis. begab sie sich auf eine Reise, die kaum verträumter in den Märchen unserer Neuzeit 
geschrieben stehen. Als ernsthaft und tiefgängig, tanzbar und markant definiert sich ihr 
Klang, der zwischen Nu Disco und Deep-House seit nun mehr als 6 Jahren 
Ländergrenzen überrollt. Mit Tausenden Fans im Rücken und schier unerschöpflichen
Ideen bahnt sie sich als Ausnahmekünstlerin ihren Weg durch den Musikkosmos unserer 
Zeit. Mit ihrem Edit zu Daft Punks "Get Lucky" schuf sie eine Deep House Hymne, mit 
der sie stark auf Melodic Deep House einwirkte und seither im Genre zu den 
Topfavoriten zählt. Trotz weltweiter Gigs und Hunderttausenden Klicks behält sie die

Kevin De Vries delivers big room drama on his ‘Aratak’ EP for Afterlife Recordings. 

Spirited synth lines, drum rolls, gripping moments of silence and weighty kick drums make the title track of De Vries’ Afterlife debut formidable club gear. ‘Sciamachy’ is more subtle, centred around a euphoric arpeggio which spirals to its apex. Konstantin Sibold contributes a fine remix, toning down certain elements of ‘Sciamachy’ to let others shine. It completes an EP that brims with energy and dancefloor dynamism, a hugely exciting first full record for De Vries on Afterlife.

Hallo liebe Liebenden,

frohe Ostern euch allen. Als kleines Osterei haben wir einen neuen Podcast für euch. An den Decks standen diese Woche die Wonkers. 
Max und Samuel sind die beiden Herren, die sich hinter diesem Projektnamen verbergen. Die Beiden kennen sich schon eine halbe Ewigkeit und sind unter dem namen Wonkers seit zehn Jahre in der Berliner Clubszene aktiv. Nach Veröffentlichungen auf Well Done! Music, Erase und Der Turnbeutel, wird demnächst noch eine Kooperation‘s Ep auf House Music with Love erscheinen. 
Die Jungs haben mittlerweile ihr eigenes Label an den Start gebracht, Polylog Arts heist das Prunkstück und sie sind fleißig am Nachwuchs rekrutieren. 
Die Jungs haben noch viel vor, wir dürfen gespannt sein.
