Wooden groove is an americana string jamband formed in Tupelo, MS in 2015. The band started with Adam Hollowell's vision to not only play original music written for his guitar and banjo, but to revive old time string songs. With the addition of Seth Vincent Flake on Mandolin/Vocals and Taylor Meador on Guitars/Vocals the band has rapidly expanded its catalogue and improvisational space. Since formation the band has been constantly writing, reinventing songs, experimenting with instruments and take liberty with improv at every gig. This band plays wooden instruments in a funky way that is sure to put a smile on your face and a beat in your feet.
