For this @DarkScienceElectro series entitled 'Electro Rewind' we turn to one of the oldest friends of the show, my man, @Koova from London.

Gavin Pykerman is the brilliant man behind @Koova - He was also a founding member of the well-known London collective @London-Modular-Alliance - The track I selected comes right off his debut EP on the short-lived 'Robodisco' record label. He has put out roughly 13 different releases on various labels and has a distinct sound that is generated from his knowledge of synthesis and appreciation of vintage analog gear.

Various Artists - No More Bloodshed - Humanitarian aid fundraise for Palestine [Confused Machines // CM023]

These are challenging times in the middle east. As the situation in Gaza gets worse daily, we are committed to doing what we can to end this conflict, and provide aid to the residents of Gaza, as well as all Palestinians in the west bank.

All proceeds from Confused Machines' digital sales will go directly to Physicians For Human Rights – Israel (PHRI) https://www.phr.org.il, which continues its medical work and humanitarian aid in the West Bank despite the difficult circumstances.

Since October 2023, PHRI has doubled its activity in the West Bank and is sending two weekly mobile clinic visits to help communities that are cut off from medical treatment due to the severe wave of settler and military violence, movement restrictions, and the financial crisis in the West Bank.

PHRI is currently unable to operate in Gaza due to restrictions by the Israeli authorities, and have been barred from delivering aid to the strip. PHRI is constantly working to resume these activities and will do so as soon as the circumstances allow.

We urge for an immediate ceasefire, the return of all hostages, and a peaceful future for all inhabitants of this troubled land.

We are pleased to present a new musical story. It's about a journey through the carefree memories of the author - electronic musician Thongvor.

This is Thongvor's first release, born out of his exploration of the world of electronic music, his familiarity with synthesizers, and his desire to convey images of lightness and warm feelings through music. The album's compositions are built around samples framed by the sound of keys. The sounds of drum machines are responsible for the groove, and Afro-Cuban percussion is for the dance rhythms.

Consistent, laconic and at the same time danceable, it instantly transports us to a parallel storyline where we are captivated by the sound of the ocean, the noise of the crowd and the singing of birds.
