Monody is a solo producer and musician born in Bristol, UK, now living in Utrecht, NL. After years of touring, collaborating on multiple projects and running a DIY label, they took a 5 year hiatus from music to reconnect with their passion and creativity. The debut album ‘Blue’ under new project Monody is the result.  

Hailing from Bristol, they pull on a strong musical heritage; a dark downtempo, trip-hop core with minimalist electronic and post punk influences. The result of this unique mix is a thick brooding sound, with strong rhythms, raw lyrics and a captivating powerful vocal delivery anchoring it all

bandschlupf is a duo doing improvised electronic music - spontaneous and free, we do not know what will happen. You might hear drone, ambient, soundscapes and maybe even a little bit of folk and noise. Based on unique Max/MSP patches, bowed mountain banjo, synths, field-recordings and funny audio toys. We play against the clock, 15 minutes per round. Pretty exciting!
