This is a mashup of two songs.  Soul Searching was written by Jamie Johnson and Blow Your Horn was a song of mine from 1991.  Our band "Cries & Whispers", consisting of the myself, Jamie Johnson on guitar, Dave Helms on saxes, and the late GOAT Chris McMahon on bass would perform these songs as as a mini-suite and this recording features Susan Fisher on vocals, who appeared with us regularly.  It was recorded direct to two track with no overdubs at Silo Sound in Indianapolis in 1992.
