Putins invasion of Ukraine is to force Ukraine to be part of Russia sphere of influence at the very least and may even be about snuffing out Ukraine as an independent nation full stop. This is a naked example of brutal imperialism.

Socialists, the trade union movement and Democrats need to oppose this war and support the Ukrainian peoples right to self determination and self defence.

We will also be discussing the practical way we can support the Ukrainian community here in Britain.
