Stop Holding On

Formed in 1986 by Karl Wallinger, World Party is the vehicle for his songwriting. There are several World Party releases: 1986 - Private Revolution: 1990 - Goodbye Jumbo (The Q Award for Album of the Year): 1993 - Bang!: 1997 - Egyptology( containing the original version of the hit record "She's The One): 2001 Dumbing Up: 2012 - Arkeology (an any-year diary and 5 CD collection). The reason for the long gap between 2001 and 2012 was due to Karl suffering an aneurysm. The road to recovery was long, but the band has been touring since 2006 and are currently recording the first new collection of songs and will be touring again soon.
