Buarky é o projeto solo de Yuri Ferrari de Lima, produtor musical de São Paulo que começou produzindo rap no home studio, colaborando com artistas da cena independente. Paralelamente, deu início a uma pesquisa sonora própria, misturando música eletrônica, funk e referências da música brasileira.

O projeto nasceu no SoundCloud com o lançamento da faixa Us Di Jay pelo selo Arrastão, quando Mulu sugeriu que ele criasse um novo nome artístico, já que seu trabalho autoral soava muito diferente das produções de rap. Foi aí que surgiu "Buarky" — uma fusão entre Chico Buarque e DJ Marky, refletindo a ideia de unir tradição brasileira e cultura de pista.

Hoje, Buarky segue explorando som com liberdade, diversão e pesquisa, trabalhando ao lado de amigos e produzindo faixas que provocam, dançam e se conectam com o agora.

Buarky is the solo project of Yuri Ferrari de Lima, a music producer from São Paulo who started making rap beats in his home studio, collaborating with artists from the independent scene. Alongside that, he began shaping his own sonic identity—blending electronic music, funk, and Brazilian musical heritage.

The project emerged on SoundCloud with the release of Us Di Jay on the Arrastão label, after Mulu encouraged him to adopt a new alias, since his solo sound was distinct from his rap work. That’s how “Buarky” was born—a mix of Chico Buarque and DJ Marky, symbolizing the fusion of Brazilian tradition and club culture.

Today, Buarky keeps exploring music with freedom, playfulness, and research—collaborating with friends and crafting tracks that aim to move both body and spirit.

Lacey Mundaca aka FreshtillDef is a footwork and bass artist hailing from San Antonio, Texas. FreshtilDef’s production style can be described as melodic blends of classic 808-driven footwork and juke, southern hip-hop, dnb, jungle and rave music, rolled into one – An exciting energy that is equally matched in her DJ sets. 

FreshtillDef started Freshmoon Records with her main collaborator MoonDoctor in 2012, and her breakout debut came in 2013 as a featured artist (and member of Teklife) on DJ Rashad’s “I Don’t Give A F*ck” EP on Kode9’s iconic label Hyperdub.  Since that time, FreshtillDef has produced with footwork, juke and other dance artists across various genres, released her first solo EP on Freshmoon in 2015 (Delerium) and has done remixes for Russian artist Pixelord (Twisted Zone, Heka Trax) and Mel G (The Light, Black Marble Collective). FreshtillDef’s latest, the “Vocalize” EP (2019) is her second solo release on Freshmoon Records, and showcases her signature sound at its most versatile. Paired with a steadily growing DJ schedule across North America, FreshtillDef is truly becoming quite a memorable name in the global bass scene.
