Based in Vatican, Aestum's 2021 debut eponymous self-titled album started their journey of downlifting tranceformative soundscapes. The merge of ambient electronica and slow-motion euphoria is inspired by concrete poetry and the legacy of 00’s club music.

Exhalation is the debut compilation of ÖÖÖ, which embodies the label's main theme of "Primitive Future". The concept captures the essence of a universal cycle that encompasses physical and spiritual elements for generating life, intelligence, and emotion. It speaks to the movement of life forms in all their subtlety or grandeur, from humans, creatures to planets, from unknown beings to unpredictable happenings. Exhalation is rooted in the origin of natural orders and chaos since time immemorial.

Participated artists are crossing different continents of the earth - SÁCCEA (@sacce4), Aestum (@aestum), e6c41 (@e6c41), Iva Peralta (@ivaperalta) Ylateau (@ylateau), Anh Phi (@anh_phi), Locre (@locr3), Ice_Eyes (@ice_eyes), Azelsgöattii (@goattii), Toby Davis (@toby_davis), Klusā Daba (@klusa_daba).

The artists developed their envision of the theme through different sonic landscapes - from futural energy paradise, turbulent apocalypse earth cracks, cult incantation from posthuman tribes, the nirvana of subconscious struggles, to oracle lights and dreamlike chants that heal wounds... Any possibilities are expected as artists will tell a consistent story of Exhalation together with their unique perspectives.

”The euphonic tics of E-Saggila's music are typically found in symbiosis with the exacting intensity of her rhythmic arrangements, as meticulously deranged as they are. 'Gamma Tag' refreshes expectations by making more space for melodic conditioning and inculcation, whipping ultraviolet harmonics into uncanny plains for a wide range of tempos and cadences.
While breaks remain staccato hammers, and kicks are cast to negate cardiac systems, E-Saggila's modulation of rhythmic dynamics is more pronounced, affording a resonance and balance that had previously been mentioned but not yet entirely explored. On more measured pieces, such as 'Amnesiac' and 'Tick', the searing digital signal envelops the horizon line, twisting the mechanics of the tracks until they burst with electromagnetic nectar.”

"Standing Silver in Deep Rivers" is the first installment of the 2-tracks project “Alabaster”, by Colorado-based artist HÉRISSÉ. A soothing, yet rough and harsh drone track, featuring eerie vocals and noisy sound design, embracing the composition of the song.

As the second and final installment of the project, "Blood Cross" shares a strangely blissful atmosphere, with a melancholic aspect on the sound palette. Powerful and cathartic vocals add an antithesis between the rest of the elements, enduring a stronger bond of feelings that creates while listening to the progression of the drones.

The 38th release of katharsis and our final release of 2023 is the prodigious compilation "Embracing Darkness, Absorbing Light" featuring a vast array of artist beloved by the label. Throughout the grandiose line-up of the 36 tracks, the listener is absorbed by various differing interpretations of the theme outlined in the title of the album. Some of the invited artist went full into introverted progressions and meditative sounds, while others focused on aggressive rhythms or anthemic melodies. But even though the styles and techniques of the songs differ from each other, the artists seem to have some commonality in their sonic palettes that binds it all together in a mutual love for music as a healing force of nature <3

SITOI 'Kuori II'

'Kuori' is a story about a shift in identity following the collapse of reality. The double EP examines gender and sexual identity, mental health, and existence within forced, rigid societal norms. It's a portrayal of confusion, the relentless hold of anger and loneliness, constant change, and finding softness and tolerance. SITOI transforms the mundane into abstract imagery. Their spoken word poetry is reunited with the familiar unforgivingly abrasive yet somber noise, expanding upon the sonic foundation laid by 'Kyyhky' with more pummelling and techno-infused percussive production.

’Kuori II’ is a continuation of the storyline from the first released half of the double EP. ’Kuori II’ is a raw, vulnerable yet keen attempt to shed the hardened skin, the shell created to numb and protect oneself but which serves that purpose no more. It’s about the fear of letting go, accepting and embracing the weariness and disappointment in order to find joy, comfort and pleasure and to connect to oneself and others.

As on ‘Kuori I’ and ‘Kyyhky’, Exploited Body is back on production duties for ‘Kuori II’. The record flails violently between the sparse and morose atmospheres of tracks like ‘Faux Uterus’ and ‘Exuviae’, and the unrelenting storms of noise on ‘Varsat’ and ‘Hän’.
