With previous releases for Jamie Jones’ HOTTRAX, Solid Grooves and Viva Music, amongst others, Los Angeles based producer, Dateless, cues up three lip smacking house choons for Waze & Odyssey’s Street Tracks label on the ‘Some People Don’t Have’ EP.

Following the ‘What’s Money?’ single, released in February of this year on Street Tracks, Dateless serves up more slick and seductive vibes across three tracks.  ‘The O.R.’ is built upon a swinging beat and a cheeky bassline wobble, with a singular vocal monologue adding to the eccentricity of the cut, whilst ‘With The Trends’ chops up more phrases and autotuned vocal fun over its rolling house beats and funky percussion.  Release closer, ‘Where Do Thoughts Go When I Die’, might sound slightly melancholic, but quite the opposite, as Dateless fires out another bouncy and offbeat production that really grabs the attention with its playful vibes.

Shargenol is a NYC based DJ that has always loved music since a young age; ranging from head banging heavy metal to deep funky disco. He fell in love with dance music years ago and dove head first into the scene and culture. He’s someone who’s been slowly curating a sound in a multitude of sets that span across different genre’s like techno, UK garage, 90s rave, breakbeat, 2000’s hits and tech house. Shargenol’s main playing style consists of high energy tech, dirty bass lines and unmatched mixing technique that makes him a must see in the underground NYC scene.
