Since 2015, Jack Morris has been producing and DJing in the rich historic musical city of Manchester, UK.  His passion in music stems from a wide range of musical influences from The Prodigy and 808 State to Loco Dice and Jamie Jones, leading to his deep-rooted passion of dance music to create a truly unique Tech House sound.  Backed with a heavy family tie to fellow Mancunians Solardo, and several prior releases and gigs, Morris has the pedigree to succeed and is a sure bet to take the tech house scene by storm in the very near future.

His debut for Street Tracks brings together two fresh productions on the ‘Velocity’ single.  The title track exudes party time energy, as ravey stabs and melodic riffs dance over the funky and minimal drum rhythm, whilst on ‘Dot To Dot’, vocal chops bounce around a percussive beat and groovy bassline for an infectious and impressive cut.

This young, up-and-coming producer is one of the VIVa family’s favourite artists coming out of the Italian scene, releasing music with Lapsus, Octopus, Materialism and recently an incredible EP for Get Physical Music. 

With tracks signed on VIVa MUSiC and VIVa MUSiC Limited already under his belt, Adapter has delivered 3 original pieces for iVAV Recordings that are locked and loaded with huge drums, pounding bass and an undeniable groove - from the hypnotic synth of the title track “Aurora” and captivating vocal sample of “Paranoid”, to the rolling snares and frantic percussion of “Binary 85”. 

Remixes come from Rework (Visionquest, Items & Things) and Marc Molina (080 Records). 

Rework’s slick new take on Aurora retains the spacey synth lead but mixes in a smooth bassline and tight pad work to create a fantastic, atmospheric remix. Marc Molina submitted 2 versions of his Paranoid remix and we couldn’t turn down either of them - the “Warehouse Remix” features echoing drums and sweeping FX that, combined with the original vocal sample, create vibes suited for huge floors. The “Underground Remix” is a more subtle affair but not for lack of punch; the track’s foundation is in it’s driving, pulsing low-end, with arpeggiated stabs cutting seamlessly through the bass weight.

Hot Creations revive Chicago’s ghetto house scene with pioneer DJ Funk and German producer Rydim who deliver the pumping Ghetto Booty. A fitting addition to the release, Miami’s Jesse Perez is on hand with solid remix.

The title track is a real throwback to the era of ghetto house with it’s straight up, stripped beats. Rydim explains “this project is a dream for me! DJ Funk has always been my greatest hero in all things Chicago. Doing 'Ghetto Booty' with Charles was such a fantastic opportunity to bring all these energetic, uptempo Chicago vibes to today's dancefloors. It's a bouncing, killer of a track! The other 'Easy As That' is more of a DJ tool. It's the result of my latest drum computer, swinging like only these little machines can.”

Rydim has been stirring up dance floors and releasing records under a variety of pseudonyms since 2002. Since his Rydim alias began in 2013, he has delivered releases for an enviable roster of labels including Hot Creations, Tsuba and Pets Recordings and his tours have included the electronic scene's most prestigious clubs.

Mr. Nice Guy Records label owner Jesse Perez has released on labels like Hot Creations, I’m A House Gangster, BPitch Control and Eats Everything’s Edible. His music always has a tongue in cheek charm and this latest remix is no exception, as he brings a heavy dose of funk and swing into the mix.
