A leading light at the forefront of the new wave of British house music, northern star Richy Ahmed returns to his home label Hot Creations with a monumental two-track release entitled ‘So Good’.

Richy Ahmed has been riding at breaking speed since his debut EP ‘The Drums’ dropped on Hot Creations in 2013, crowned as Pete Tong’s ‘Essential New Tune’ and receiving a wealth of support worldwide. The following year he followed up with his ‘Sneaky Acid’ EP as the 50th release on Hot Creations and made his Radio 1 ‘Essential Mix’ debut. Since then he has spread his wings producing releases for the likes of Circus and Strictly Rhythm and remixes for Hotflush, Suara and Truesoul to name a few. The talented producer is now back on Hot Creations and about to drop one of his best to date.

His first release for 2016, it features two house jams both with a different style. 'So Good' is a perfect summer groover and. 'Ruff N Raw', as the name describes, is quite a tough house banger. Both have been causing serious damage!
Aside from producing, Richy is an integral member of the Hot Creations crew, acting as both A&R and being one of the main residents and curators of the line ups for Paradise at DC10. He also enjoys an extensive touring schedule playing all over the world at hotspots such as Panorama Bar and fabric. Now in 2016, there are no signs of slowing down with the launch of his 'FourThirtyTwo' branded parties that see him playing all night to small intimate crowds. Richy also plans to launch his record label later in the year under the same brand.

Next up on Hottrax is the teaming up of two heavyweights in the form of Circus Recordings boss Yousef and New York don Harry Romero. The 'Im Behind You' EP is a fine addition to the discography and Alan Fitzpatrick has turned in a stellar remix.

Moby is a name synonymous with us all in the electronic music world and we are lucky enough to have been able to hand select some Drumcode artists to remix his work. This 9 track package included remixes from Enrico Sangiuliano, Dense & Pika, Bart Skils, Alan Fitzpatrick, Marco Faraone, Tiger Stripes, Manic Brothers and Luca Agnelli. Each one has been thought out and accomplished with precision using some of Moby’s synonymous samples.

The Italian duo The Deepshakerz, aka Domy Berardino and Mirco Sonatore, are two of the hardest working guys in the tech house scene. They produce together in the studio like a finely tuned machine churning out bangers for some of the top labels in the game. For this EP they have two collaboration tracks of pure tech house with stand out quality and craftsmanship.
First up the duo have teamed up with Marck Jamz to deliver the mighty Punk Is Not Dead. Here we are gifted with a fat slice of chunky tech house that is ready to blow up subwoofers and take no prisoners while it sends crowds into hysteria. Pounding drums are the backbone of this cut supported by a catchy distorted vocal hook and some twisted synth work which is all crafted to form a banging track for peak time floors.
Next up The Deepshakerz are joined by Luca Lento on this grooving tribal work out. Sourn is a drummy, sub bass jam that just oozes style and class. The fundamentals of the track consist of an intricate bead of percussion, a distorted analog brass synth lead and quirky tribal vocal snippets. A surprise twist comes when a funky vocal enters to bring the track up to full power. This is definitely a fun and funky track, perfect to get the party jumping!

Underground Audio presents Toni Varga's 'Yuka' EP. An expert in crafting DJ tools over the past decade, Toni's first release for the imprint cements his ability as a generator of exceptional records. 

Title track 'Yuka' sees a mesh of flanged hi-hats dashed with flecks of acid synth lines. Emery Warman's Remix puts a shuffle on the original to give the bassline some added groove and motion, whilst System2 douse their version with sub pulses and vocal chops to create a ferocious stomper. 

'Kubu', Toni's second original of the EP, subtly interlocks toms, vocal lines and bass interjections to create a flowing house shuffler to round off the release.
