A return to metal after the more shoegaze influenced Somniferum.

This track was initially much darker lyrically. But I found that I just couldn't continue writing such depressing lyrics. So it became more positive, rather than being a song entirely about darkness and struggle; it became one more about resiliance and strength. It became especially about the role my religion plays in my life.

I am also really happy with how the production turned out on this. I learnt a lot while making Somniferum and I hope it reflects in the song. Let me know what you think of the mixing and mastering.

As a general update, I actually still am working on that album I started back when Wither... dropped at the start of the year. I'd hoped to have had it done by now but my poor physical health over the last few months has made it incredibly difficult to maintain any sort of consistant working schedule. I've also decided to take a couple of weeks off from making music. In the last few months, I've released a mixtape and several singles, all entirely written, recorded and produced by me. While I absolutely love doing this, I think I need a short break mainly for my physical health. When I start back up, I'll be working on that album. Thank you for being patient. If you have any complaints, write a detailed letter adressed to the entire species of staphylococcus aureus, the world's supply seems to be currently concentrated in my lungs.

Pour moi, la perception est aléatoire et bien souvent je pense être à un niveau de conscience qui baigne cette façon de voir et de ressentir dans une grande illusion.

Je reste alors, la plupart du temps dans ces dimensions que je pense être très filtrées, tentant de me structurer et de structurer, sur du "flou" malheureusement.
Ou plutôt, sur de la "forme" et non du "fond"...

Faisant en sorte de puiser dans chacune des inspirations valables à mes yeux quelque chose qui pourra m'élever et, peut-être que le temps s'arrêtera à nouveau, laissant le brouillard et les nuages derrière moi, c'est alors que la porte de sortie sera devant moi et je prie de tout ce que je crois être pour qu'elle soit plus que perceptible au plus tôt.

J'espère qu'à ce moment, l'énergie sera suffisamment stockée, et armé de cette force, je serais enfin capable de rentrer dans un espace où le réel sera plus visible.
La vapeur sera un peu plus inversée.
Je serais alors rentré dans une nouvelle structure.
J'aurai (re)trouvé ...
