We only release music we absolutely love, and so we are proud to present yet another very talented artist on Truesounds Music - Italy-based Unstable Son, with his new 4-track EP, Dystopia.

The title track ‘Dystopia’, one of the most outstanding productions that has come our way recently, combines a breakbeat base with contemporary melodic, liquid sound. The cherry on top is the vocal from Lily Und Wolf. 

For the remix, when it comes to quality we do not compromise, so we asked the underground icon, Martin Roth, to rework the tune and we are extremely delighted to have him on our label. With potential to become a club anthem, it’s most definitely a peak time tune that takes you on a hypnotic journey with a multitude of melodies and a groove that will make you dance till the very end.

The next track, ‘Secrets’ is a bit different with an uplifting, joyful, Ibiza vibe and a male vocal by Dcoverz. Finally we have an instrumental track, ‘Ypsilon’, with a true underground sound - just what Truesounds is all about. We hope you enjoy!

The last release of an unprecedented year for all of us combines an array of tracks we were playing mostly before the pandemic started. As many of you know, Siamese has a diverse catalogue of music that is constantly redrawing boundaries. This release consists of tracks that get played in the more melodic part of our sets.

“Realizing people connecting themselves through electronic music. That was the wake up call I couldn’t ignore. I guess there’s something about the many infinite possibilities and combinations on each and every detail of a track, and how they can affect people’s feelings and create moments…that moves and fascinates me, for sure. It’s something equal to a purpose, or a meaning of life, if you like to put it that way.”

Awka’s enlightening discovery was nothing but a first glance about what would come to change his life forever.

Expression was definitely a burden to Awka as ordinary ways of communication just never seemed enough. As time went by, this need connect with others became an obsession and a search, in which digging new and old records could be a relief or a clue. By coincidence or fate, at the age of 15 Awka moved to Munich and got in touch with german electronic music culture, making the first contact with synthesizers and experimenting a whole new world of different music styles.

A blended and unique cultural background was not the only result of this life and art experience. Finally, Awka found the means to reach out to others and to get his voice heard. It was clear the words were and couldn’t be enough as what was there to be said couldn’t be understood, but only felt.

Back to his home town, in Rio de Janeiro, Awka’s plans finally came out of paper as his career had it’s definitive start. After a few solo presentations, Awka formed the “Tenth Column” duo, which’s talent lead to the famous label party RIO ME residency and to performances on renowned gigs such as D-EDGE, Club 88, Warung Tour and RAWW X ROOM.

On his current solo career Awka has been part of the crew that delivered the greatest electronic music carnival party ever seen in Rio - The “Bloco Ame”, also being a flashy name in Warung Closing Summer 2019, meeting Edu Schwartz, who would soon become his actual partner in starting his new label: Words Not Enough.

Awka’s purpose is now fulfilled through his tracks and productions. On a new phase, his ways of connection are being reproduced by exponential labels such as Akbal Music, Lump Records, Pipe & Pochet, Seven Villas e Warung Recordings. Not to mention his 2 reinterpretations on the english band “Elder Island” tracks, which together sum up to 500 thousand plays on spotify.
