Tonelite: Ein junger Mann aus Dresden der sich Stück für Stück zu einem Geheimtip mausert. 
Wenn man ihn vor sich hat, spürt man sofort seinen Frohsinn und dass er ein absoluter Genießer ist was das Leben betrifft/ dass er das Leben in vollen Zügen genießt. Nicht umsonst hat er letztes Jahr den JedenTageinSet-Contest gewonnen und ist somit auf dem Wilde Möhre Festival aufgetreten. Seither ist er auch festes Mitglied im Openair to go und immer öfter in Club und im Sommer auf einigen Festivals zu sehen. Heute hat er uns ein Set zusammengestellt, welches unverwechselbar seine Handschrift trägt.

The German/Danish collaboration delivers "Zodiac" , a melodic, groovy tech house track, which is accompanied by 2 remixes - one from Kollektiv Ost, the other from Martin Waslewski. Neben dem melodisch, groovenden Tech House Originaltrack, befinden sich auf der "Zodiac" EP erneut zwei Remixarbeiten. Diese stammen von Kollektiv Ost und Martin Waslewski, dessen Interpretation ihr hier als Premiere hören könnt. Die "Zodiac" EP wird am 06. Oktober auf Lost Diaries erscheinen.

Seth Schwarz & Westerby - Zodiac (Martin Waslewski Remix)

16th October sees illustrious DJ/producer Darius Syrossian release his first solo EP on Mar-T’s esteemed label, Wow! Recordings, entitled ‘Revolution’. Infamously outspoken DJ, producer, label boss and radio host Darius Syrossian has firmly positioned himself as one of the UK’s finest recent exports. Past releases on the likes of Yousef’s Circus, Steve Lawler’s VIVa and Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations have presented him the opportunity to showcase his skills in the studio, whilst an ever-hectic touring schedule (including a current residency at Sankeys Ibiza) has seen him demonstrate his prowess behind the decks too.

Although ‘Revolution’ comes as his first solo offering for Wow!, he did team up with fellow UK artist Doorly for their 2016 collaborative EP, ‘Reality Check’, which saw the lead track stay at #1 on Beatport (Tech House chart) for over a month.

Kicking off the release is ‘Applebum’, an energetic Tech-House groover that opens with a sample from A Tribe Called Quest’s cult classic, ‘Bonita Applebum’, before progressing with headstrong drums, synths and a surging bassline.

Following is a remix of ‘Applebum’ from Wow! Recordings’ head honchos Luca Donzelli & Mar-T, who choose to loop the Tribe sample throughout, adding several percussive elements and a killer breakdown mid-way through.

The EP’s title-named track, ‘Revolution’, closes the release, a dark, throbbing number that sees Syorssian combine soulful vocals with low-end drums, looped cymbals, warbling synths and an uncompromising bassline.

‘Revolution’ EP is available exclusively via Beatport on 16th October and everywhere else two weeks later.

In a bid to put York on the musical map, northern producer and DJ, Sizeup, serves up some tasty peaktime goodness with his debut on Hot Creations.

Perplexer drops the listeners into an utterly obscene bassline that is guaranteed to cause uproar on the floor. This is neatly followed by the rhythmic drums of Don’t Know Disco, a track that is altogether darker than its title would suggest. Last up, Derober is driving with an insatiable groove and an energising bounce.

Sizeup, the alias of Jamie Burley, has had a passion for electronic music from a young age, hauling a bag of vinyl to his school discos with choice wax from legendary producers including Frankie Knuckles, Kevin Saunderson and Todd Terry. This passion continues to burn within him right through to the present day via his insatiable appetite to create records that will stir up dance floors across the globe.

When playing gramophone records, wow is a once-per-revolution pitch variation which could result from warping of the record or from a spindle hole that was not precisely centered, this would not be the best reason to call our label WOW!

 Our releases talk by themselves and hopefully our limited vinyl pressings will never suffer of this effect. We are based between Barcelona and Ibiza and we are mainly focused on tec-house electronic music with remixes from friends of the label.
