"Higher Tonight" with Monika Santucci.

I remember discovering artists years and years ago such as Above & Beyond, Arty, Jason Ross, & many more - Even back when W&W were releasing their older work, I knew I had fallen in love with what some people would consider a mix of trance and progressive house. “Higher Tonight” sparked from my inspiration by these sounds and artists.

After writing the original structure for it, I wanted to bring on a vocalist who really matched the euphoric, uplifting feel of it. I had been a fan of Monika’s work for awhile already and when she crossed my mind for someone to collaborate with on this I instantly knew she would be a great fit, and luckily enough she connected with the music aswell! Quite quickly the full song came together and I went on to spend months refining it.

To me this song is about escapism, that feeling of adventure when you are young and going to some of your first shows, not just a night out but a connection with that magic you feel seeing an artist perform that’s music impacts you.
