for OOOSC#3, made on a hotel computer in about 2 hours, on a portable reaper install using just a break and some stock FX.
Kinda like Virtual Riot's Death By Amen, but worse.

For OOOSC#4. A remake/reinterpretation of the first track i ever wrote for VSTs. 
Steppe was originally composed in December 2017, when I had just learned what a VST was but still didn't know what a DAW was. I composed it in musescore and recorded it using VSThost and a collection of free plugins and samples.
Almost 8 years later, i've learned a lot more about the technical side of music production and grown a little in my composition skills as well. The original piece is largely unchanged, just produced differently and with a few layers added in the repeat.

Believe it or not, this was originally supposed to be a backrooms-ish vaporwave track. It turned out more spacey but I like where it landed.

tuned in the basic 5-limit JI diatonic scale except the 7th is tuned to 11/6.

first time I've come even close to succeeding in making something resembling botanica, although challenging myself not to use pianos or other sampled instruments makes that quite a bit harder.
