Here's a mix of german only tracks by my friend Gero. Connected through the love for obscure german fleamarket finds we have been exchanging oddities for a couple of years now. Gero is a gentlemen enjoying his finds in silence and it was hard work getting him to record a mix. Funnily he seems to have enjoyed it a lot and promised a sequel already (which might be coming soon as I have missed to post this here mix for months - mit der Bitte um Vergebung!) . ECM was founded by Manfred Eicher in Munich in 1969 and soon developed into a melting pot of interesting musical fusions. Artists such as Don Cherry, Steve Reich, Meredith Monk, the Art Ensemble of Chicago, Jon Hassell, Eberhard Weber, Carla Bley, Keith Jarrett and Arvo Pärtt have found a home there.
