A small sample of sounds produced by my DIY bitwise modulation synth. It's an atmega328 microcontroller that does direct digital synthesis on an 8-bit dac. Two oscillators, sine, square, saw and triangle waves, bitwise modulation effect, a rudimentary LFO, LPF, VCA and MIDI in. Will post some more info later.

8-bit bitwise synth

Short demo tune made with my 8-bit diy synth. Some bitwise modulation going on there, some modest chorus, resonant filter and reverb added in DAW. The drum sounds are afrodjmac's commodere64 sounds. Bass, lead and other synth sounds all from my 8-bit crappy synth. It does sound pretty awfull at times, but with 8-bits what else did you expect? 

The synth is an 8-bit diy DAC connected to an atmega328 doing digital direct synthesis.
