Seit 2001 an den Decks, meist mit Techno, aber auch mit(fast) allen anderen Richtungen, weil es einfach überall und in jeder Schublade starke Tracks zu finden gibt.

Im Oktober 2017 bin ich ein Teil von exLEpäng! geworden, einem Leipziger Kollektiv, dass es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht hat, die Kulturszene musikalisch, künstlerisch und menschlich zu bereichern.  

Aber warum exLEpäng? Das ist eigentlich ganz einfach:

RAVEN - also die Liebe zur elektronischen Musik, klar. Wir finden es gibt so viel Abseits des normalen Cluballtags. Von künstlerisch wertvoll bis cheesy, funky oder kompromisslos. Jeder unserer Musiker/Künstler ist in seinem "Tanzbereich" in der Lage ein Brett hinzulegen.

LIEBE FÜR ALLE - was gibt es schöneres? Nix, richtig. Entspanntes feiern funktioniert wenn alle miteinander Spaß haben, sich um den Anderen kümmern und jeder jeden respektiert. Ist eigentlich ganz simpel, oder? 

Damit, und das sei ganz klar gesagt - hat Fremdenfeindlichkeit, Sexismus, Feindseligkeit und Gewalt bei uns (sowie eigentlich überall) keinen Platz!

Born at the baltic sea, Kati Color grew up in the hood of Chemnitz, which shaped her and defined her roots.

Her stories reach listeners with tunes of Minimal, Microhouse and Deep Tech in midrange tempo going down to the tribal, touching, spiritual Soundscapes of Downtempo and Organic House. Influences of Hip Hop, Dub and Drum'n'Bass as well as a multicultural approach round up her musical profile. 

In harmony with her mayan seal Cauac, she takes you on a transformational trip to make you feel, explore, dream and dance. Her Mixes are a well sorted collection of trippy, heady, deep, dark, driving sounds combined with soul and style. Bringing raw & grounded mindfulness to the floor, she creates meaningful moments of flow aiming to make room for connection.
