Wave Music is a New York City-based independent electronic music label founded and owned by Francois K. In its 14 years of existence, it has brought over 200 releases to worldwide ears, crossing genre boundaries with a wide variety of sounds on its sub-labels techy WaveTec, dubby-spacey Deep Space Media & minimal clicktracks. In addition to Francois' productions, remixes and DJ mixes Wave has featured Eric Kupper, Floppy Sounds/Rob Rives, Beat Pharmacy, John Daly, King Britt & Lisa Shaw, Blue 6, Apologist, Tony Lionni, the Body & SOUL and Deep and Sexy series, Matthias Heilbronn, Pete Heller to name a few. Wave Music is still releasing 12" singles (now via P&D with Topplers), CDs (MVD in the US, BBQ in Japan, Family Affair in Italy, Nocturne in France, and Cargo in the UK/rest of Europe) and digital downloads everywhere. Its sister booking agency, Forward, represents a handful of uniquely talented artists.
